18.老龍洞

18.老龍洞

老龍洞位於龍門石窟蓮花洞北側，是一處就著自然山洞開鑿而成的石窟，建造於唐貞觀至永淳年間（627-683），平面呈不規則凹形，窟頂為穹窿形，高8、寬5.6、深9.8公尺。此洞非個人出資開鑿，因此並未造出主要的一鋪大像，全窟正壁及南北壁面遍鑿中小型佛龕，無主次之分。
