Social Innovation and eKnowledge Distribution

Description

Internet and mobile technologies are changing the dynamics of how we live, work, and learn. Based on social innovation theories and communication theories, this course familiarizes students how social innovation is developed and how new information and knowledge are produced, distributed, acquired, exchanged, and shared in the network society. This course discusses and explores the impact of e-knowledge on our lives and issues such as e-learning, virtual reality, creative commons, remix, and social networking.
