Networks for Social Impact familiarizes students with social media tools and networking approaches to scaling up social innovation for greater social impact. It develops students' sensitivity and capacity toward information and communication technologies (ICT), preparing students to be able to work with businesses, governmental agents, and NGOs in planning and implementing ICT-related developmental projects. Additional research emphasis will be placed on the emerging global phenomenon of digital natives and its implications for education.
