The purpose of the Doctor of Philanthropy in Public Affairs program is to train researchers in areas relating to public affairs, including public policy analysis and implementation, nonprofit organization management, cross-sector governance, conflict management, social gap and digital divide, etc. Based on the School’s research thrusts in civil society governance, social enterprise development, and social media, the doctoral program cultivates graduates capable of applying leading-edge social scientific theory and knowledge to real-world problems in public affairs.
