DESCRIPTION
Loss is one major event
that is unavoidable in life. Besides
bereavement, loss by death, we are also wandering between gain and loss in our
daily life all the time. This course is designed to discuss, analyze and
investigate Loss through psychology, philosophy and religion. Besides academic views, we will also approach
Loss through practices and solicitude for life, and provide students directions
for further exploration. Further, we
will discuss possible ways to develop solicitude in the field of education.
