聖嚴師父召集各研究所召集委員召開第二次籌備會議，由六個研究所召集委員提出規劃工作及結果。會中  聖嚴師父宣布聘請劉安之教授為籌備處執行顧問，負責並參與各研究所規劃及籌備工作。另增聘陳宏宇教授擔任環境與永續經營研究所召集人，參與該所之規劃工作。Beginning from Jan. 23rd, Liu An-zhi, the Executive Advisor, visits the professors in charge of the planning of the 6 graduate schools to enquire and exchange ideas on the establishment of the College. They reach an initial consensus that the College shall include the 4 colleges of humanities & social sciences, art, management, and environmental studies, as well as two centers: Chan Experience and Culture Study Center and Language Center. In addition, they consider together the feasibility of changing the College into Dharma Drum University.
