An academic symposium on “Cross-Straits Youth Scholars Forum: The Modern Value of Chinese Traditional Culture”, initiated by Chinese Development Foundation and organized by the Preparatory Office of the College, is held in Si Liang Building of National Taiwan University on Sept. 16 and 17. More than 160 young scholars from both sides of the Taiwan Straits attend the conference and discuss how cross-straits social development will affect Chinese culture in the future
