Emphasis of domestic and international internship

The program emphasizes integration of theory and practice. The Master’s in Community Regeneration program (MCR), based on theory and practice, provides community development practitioners with systematic core knowledge in revitalizing local cultures and communities. The program values local culture, grassroots organizations, and community involvement. Additionally, the program emphasizes the issues and methodologies in community-level spatial design as well as the regeneration of local heritages and the development of a cultural industry. The MCR program offers core courses and hand-on experiences for students to improve the design skills for the culture and creativity industries, the abilities to mobilize and organize community involvement, the planning skills in spatial design, and the abilities to apply information technologies for culture.
