Training the environmental information professional person is the primary task in this program. We design a series of coucharacterized ecological environment system of Taiwan, marine environment and cultural landscape etc. It emphasizes that solutions of environmental problems must be from local concern to towards the care of the world.
Master Degree Program of Green Economy and Society(Under Planning)
The program is goal-oriented for economic and environmental sustainable development, and it is different from traditional economic field. This approach will find a balance between economic development and environmental protection. Green economy, cleaner production and low-carbon society are the learning objectives for this program. The most important issue for environmental sustainable development includes positive promotion of low-carbon society, resources conservation and reduce/reuse/recycle, etc., which are the main study topic of this program.
Master Degree Program of Environment and Development
Based on the protecting the spiritual environment, which is the characteristic of the Dharma Drum University, paying attention to humanities/social care and training the environmental policymaker are the aims for this program. The course design includes environmental issue analysis, environmental management, environmental decision-making, environmental risk, public participation and environmental lobby etc. Students can display well ability to work in government, enterprise or NGO after completing the program and beginning to serve for the society in the future. From the beginning of protecting the spiritual environment and protecting the living environment, devote our knowledge and practice to the environment and then influence the development of the society.

The scheme of this course covers the inner mental and moral culture of life, to experience establishing the pattern of education. It neither simply provides, as far as knowledge is concerned, the course contents of philosophy, psychology, and culture, nor only offers discussion and development on the basis of teaching plans and compiling teaching materials.
